LAGOS, Nigeria – Tomorrow Saturday, October 1, 2022 will be a memorable day for followers of Peter Obi, the Presidential candidate of Labour Party.

It is a day set aside by the massive followers of Peter Obi, who have variously tagged themselves as ObIdients, Obidatti and Obicracy, followers who started on the social media before migrating into the streets of Nigeria in their quest to bring about positive change at least once in a lifetime.

The Obidient movement, the first of a kind in the history of Nigeria has become a nascent phenomenon that metamorphosed as a result of love and belief among the youths on Peter Obi, who has by his sterling records as governor of Anambra State and by his utterance caught the fancy of the Nigerian youths and unparalleled following.

The movement which has gathered momentum in every state of the federation, including Abuja has created what has been described as ‘Obiphobia’ among politicians who are now left with nothing but to fabricate lies to tarnish his clean records. But the youths appear set and  determined to make the desired change with Peter Obi, irrespective of the jabs political jobbers throw at their candidate.

It is as a result of this that the youths conceptualize the Obidatti23 October 1 Forward Ever Rally for Lagos and across the federation.  Although, opposers tried to stop the rally at a time  set aside for campaigns and rallies by the electoral umpire, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, the will of the people prevailed when  Justice Daniel Osiagor of the Federal High Court, Ikoyi, Lagos ruled that Obidatti23 rally will hold in Lagos but that they should avoid convergence at the Lekki Toll gate but that there is nothing wrong if the procession passes through the Lekki Toll Gate.

Armed with this sweet victory, the Obidatti23  Four million man rally will take Lagos by storm, holding simultaneously in three zones, Lekki, Ojuelegba and the Festac Axis. The Obidatti23 rally has held successfully across the nation without any hassles.

The Lagos event and that of Kaduna, Asaba and other areas should not be different unless it is hijacked by 5th columnists.  No doubt, it is one way the youths have chosen to celebrate their freedom from oppressive politicians who milk the nation to feather their nest at the expense of the masses as soon as they take hold of the reigns of power.

They believe in Peter Obi, whom they see as not only a symbol of hope but a competent, corrupt-free, fit for the job, and a conservative politician who is  humble to the core besides his messages which resonates among the teaming youthful population and intelligent adults who are not easily swayed by ethnic and religious bigotry.

Ironically, the rally is also taking place outside Nigeria, in the UK, United States  and across the Nigerian federation. It is  indeed a grand ball with good music expected to reinforce all the polls which have placed Peter Obi ahead of all other candidates for the 2023 general election.

One of the team  will kick off at the National Stadium Surulere,  with a grand musical concerts like in other zones

The P Carnival like procession, for the organisers will be the bases of OBI-DATTI Political Movement to enter into the Guiness Book of Records as The Most Vibrant Political Movement In the world

“We will then move from Ojuelegba through Empire Street/Road ; through JIBOWU; Through FADEYI ; Through Onipanu ; Through Palmgroove ; through Obanikoro ; through Anthony ; through Idiroko ; through Maryland .

The procession will be laid with speeches at intermittent intervals across Lagos and good music.

The mission:  “In all our evangelism and postulations to Nigerians, our message is very clear “that we bring to Nigerians the message of  “Freedom at last … solution and hope 2023; #Obidatti23 from bottom to the top; From consumption to production; From dead economy to a living and vibrant economy in secured environment; Looting of Nigeria, never again shall Nigeria live on crumbs; power must change hands #takeback our country”, among others.
