KANO, Nigeria – A gale of resignation has continued to hit the Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje led Kano State Government with the latest coming from the ranks of special advisers and special assistants.




This evening at least two special advisers drop their letters of resignation. This has been the trend since the resignation of the Deputy Governor of Kano State, Professor Hafiz Abubakar.

Today, not less than two people resigned from government.

They are Special Adviser to the Kano State governor on Non-governmental organisation, NGO Abdulhadi Zubairu Chula and Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Public Affairs, Shamsu Aliyu Samanja. Others who have resigned are Dr Bakari Ado Hussaina (Special Adviser on Education), Alhaji Namoda-Birnin (Special Adviser on Grave yard), Habibu Abubakar (Senior Special Assistant) and Idris Salisu among others.

Recall that Ganduje was Deputy Governor when Senator Kwankwaso was governor of Kano State.
