    IKEJA, Lagos, Nigeria – Chairman, Nigerian Union of Journalists, (NUJ), Lagos State, Dr. Akinreti Qasim has said that hence forth, state of finance in the council will form part of agenda during the monthly congress.

    Akinreti, who made the revelation in a statement itemised four items for every congress, state of the nation, state of the media, finance and AOB.

    “Remember hence forth the agenda of the Congress :1.state of the Media , 2.state of the nation , 3.finance, 4.AOB”, he said adding that the inaugural Congress comes up at Radio Lagos multipurpose Hall up.

    He also appealed to members to stop the blame game, adding that this is a new beginning.
    Meanwhile, the former NUJ chairman, Lagos, Mr. Deji Elumoye has handed over to the Dr. Qasim Akinreti-led executive council.
