July 21, 2014 – Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola on Monday inaugurated a 4-man tribunal to probe the circumstances surrounding the killing of a soldier by Lagos State Government Bus(LAGBUS) and subsequent burning and vandalisation of about nine buses operated by the Bus Rapid Transit Scheme(BRT) in Lagos.

Members of the tribunal are Hon. Justice Ebenezar Adeniyi Adebajo,rtd(Chairman)., Mr. Nurudeen Ogbara, Mr. Jude Igbanoi and Ms. Oludamilola Kaesington as secretary.

Born July 5th, 1949, Adebajo was the principal partner at Adeniyi Adebajo Chambers between 1984 – 2004. He was also first and second Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association in 1996 and 1997. He obtained a Bachelor of Law from the University of Lagos in 1980 and was called to the bar in 1981.

He is a retired judge of the High Court of Lagos State. Nurudeen Ogbara is the Secretary Osun State Truth and Reconciliation Commission and Executive Secretary National Association of Democratic Lawyers(NADL). A member of the Nigerian Tobacco Control Alliance (NTCA), he obtained his degree in law from Obafemi Awolowo University in 1994. He was also called to the bar.

Mrs. Jude Igbanoi was born in 1961 and obtained a degree in Linguistics from the University of Jos in 1988 and a degree in law from the University of Lagos in 1999 and was called to the Nigerian bar in 2003. All the members are married with children.
