December 10, 2015 – Power supply in Lagos State will improve in the new year going by development from Egbin Power plant which generates about 1000 MW.
We gathered that the Egbin Power plant has improved on power generation, raising its capacity from 1000MW to 1,300MW.
Chairman, Ikeja Electric, Mr. Tope Sonubi made the revelation at the inauguration of a committee to provide 24 hours electricity to Lagos homes.
He said that plans have been concluded to inject a total of 220 MW into Lagos adding that the addition will improve power supply in Lagos.
