    COVID19 kills 3061 patients in the United States; Nigeria reports 100 cases

    Nigeria reports 100 COVID19 cases

    LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 100 new cases of COVID19, bringing all time cases to 253,  505. 

    But out of the 253, 505 total cases,  229,  893 patients have been treated and discharged, while 3, 136 patients could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 20, 476 active cases of COVID19, no death in the last 24 hours.

    “NCDC: 100 new cases of COVID19Nigeria; Lagos – 22, Yobe – 18,  FCT – 15,  Ogun -7,  Osun -7,  Oyo-6, Sokoto -6, Imo -5, Kwara -5,  Bauchi -3,  Edo -3,  Delta -1, Jigawa -1, Kano -1, Nasarawa -1:  253, 505 confirmed;  229,  893 discharged;  3, 136 deaths”, the NCC has announced.

    There are now 388, 100,320 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic,  5, 713, 256  patients are no more, while  10,012,400,232 doses of COVID19 vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.

    According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, now reporting 75, 994,204 confirmed cases of COVID19, while 897,377 patients are no more(313, 717 new and 3061 deaths#), followed by India, which has reported 41,952,712 confirmations and 500, 055 deaths(149, 394 new and 1072 deaths#) and Brazil, which has documented 26,107, 894 total cases of COVID19 pandemic, while 630,301 patients have passed on(287, 149 new and 1000 deaths#).

    France remains the 4th country most hit, reporting 20,274,710 total cases of COVID19,   132, 847 patients have passed on(276, 409 new and 264 deaths#) , followed by the United Kingdom, which has documented 17, 727,681 total cases of COVID19, while 158,266 patients have been confirmed dead (95, 619 new and  328 deaths#)and Russia, now reporting 12,090, 707 all time cases, while 326,642 patients have perished(154, 643 new and 656 deaths#).

    Turkey remains the 7th country most hit by COVID19 with 11, 940,695 total infections and 88, 064 deaths(107, 530 new and  231 deaths#), followed by Italy, with 11, 348, 701 total cases, while 147, 734 patient have perished(112, 956 new and  414 deaths#) and Spain, which has reported 10, 199,716 all time cases and 94, 040 deaths(74, 368 new and  183 deaths#).

    Germany remains the 10th country most hit, reporting 10, 723,644 total cases, while 118,508 patients are no more(248, 652 new and 169 deaths#) and South Africa, the most afflicted country in Africa. South Africa has registered 3, 616, 075 COVID19 cases, while  95, 545 lives have been wasted by the pandemic(3266 new and 82 deaths#).
