    Coronavirus: Nigeria lists 118, France 75, 507, Spain 37 889 all in 1 day

    LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) has confirmed 118 cases of Coronavirus in the country, bringing all time cases to 61,558.

    But out of the 61,558 all time cases, 56,697 patients have been  discharged, while  1,125  others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 3, 736 active cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

    Breakdown  of the new cases is as follows, Lagos-51, Rivers-26, Imo-12, Osun-8, Plateau-6, FCT-5, Kaduna-4, Ogun-3, Edo-2 and Niger-1, making the total of 118 cases of Coronavirus.

    “NCDC@NCDCgov118 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Lagos-51, Rivers-26, Imo-12, Osun-8, Plateau-6, FCT-5, Kaduna-4, Ogun-3, Edo-2 and Niger-1; 61,558 confirmed, 56,697 discharged, 1,125 deaths”, the NCDC said in a statement.

    Globally, there are now 40,272,679 cases of Coronavirus,  1, 116, 167 deaths, while 27, 558,672 others have recovered. There are currently 11, 597, 840 active cases of Coronavirus worldwide, the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University has reported.

    According to the centre, the United States remains the  most afflicted, reporting 8, 202, 679 confirmed cases,  220, 046 deaths and 3, 234,183 recoveries, leaving the United States with 4, 748, 450 active cases of Coronavirus(59, 766 new cases), followed by India with  7, 550, 273 all time cases, 114, 610 deaths, while 6, 663, 608 patients have recovered, leaving India with 772, 055 Coronavirus patients looking up to government for the best of care to regain their health(55, 722 new cases) and Brazil which has confirmed 5, 235, 344 cases, 153, 904 deaths and  4, 526, 393 recoveries, leaving Brazil with 555, 047 active cases of Coronavirus(10, 982 new cases).

    Russia remains the 4th country most hit, reporting 1, 406, 667 cases, 24, 205 deaths and 1,070,920 recoveries, leaving Russia with 311, 542 active cases of the pandemic(15, 843 new cases), followed by Argentina which has documented 989,680 confirmations, 26, 267 deaths,  803, 965 recoveries, leaving Argentina with 159, 448 active cases of Coronavirus(10, 506 new cases) followed by Spain which has reported  974,449 cases over time,  33, 992 deaths, while 150, 376 patients have been treated and discharged, leaving Spain with 790, 081 Coronavirus patients to assist to overcome the pandemic(37, 889 new cases).

    Colombia has been pushed to the 7 the country worst hit, reporting  959, 572 confirmations,  28, 970 deaths and  858, 294 recoveries, leaving Colombia with 72, 308 patients hoping for the best of care to keep living(7, 201 new cases), followed by France which has reported 951, 849 cases, 33,645 patients have been killed by Coronavirus, while 109, 253 others have been treated and discharged, leaving France with 808,951 active cases of Coronavirus(75, 507 new cases) and Peru, which had reported 868, 675 all time cases,  33, 759 patients are no more, while 779, 779 others have recovered, leaving Peru with 55, 137 active cases(3, 126 new cases).

    Mexico has come up as the 10th country most hit, reporting 851, 227 cases,  86, 167 patients could not make it alive, while 720, 973 others have regained their health, leaving Mexico with 44, 087 active cases of Coronavirus(4, 119 new cases), followed by the United Kingdom which has reported 744, 120 confirmations, 43, 816 deaths and 2, 606 recoveries, leaving the United Kingdom with 697, 698 patients down with Coronavirus, looking up to the government for the best of care to get back on their feet(18, 828 new cases), followed by South Africa which has documented  703, 793 confirmed cases, 18, 471 deaths and  634, 543 recoveries, leaving South Africa with 50, 779  cases looking up to the government for good care to keep living(1, 662 new cases) and Italy now 16th country most hit with 423, 578 confirmations,  36, 616 patients could not make it alive, while  252, 959 others have been treated and discharged, leaving Italy with  134, 003 active cases of Coronavirus(9, 337 new cases).
