    Coronavirus: Nigeria lists 556 new 11 deaths as 1175 die in Brazil

    LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 566 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic, bringing all time cases to  176, 577. But out of the 176, 577 confirmed cases,  165, 323 patients have been treated and discharged, while 2, 178 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 9076 active cases, while 11 patients died in the last 24 hours.

    NCDC: 566 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Lagos – 233, Akwa  Ibom – 88,  Oyo – 62, Rivers – 62,  FCT – 18, Ogun – 17,  Ekiti – 12, Kwara – 11, Plateau – 6, Zamfara – 3, Kaduna – 2, Katsina – 2: 176, 577 confirmed; 165, 323 discharged, 2, 178 deaths”, the NCDC has announced.

    There are now 200, 741, 912 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic globally, 4, 264, 652 patients are no more while  4, 304, 922,598 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.

    According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting 35, 422,450 all time cases, while 615, 276 patients have passed on(107, 704 new and 507 deaths*) followed by India, which has reported 31, 812, 114 all time cases, while  426, 290  patients have perished(42, 982 new and 533 deaths*) and Brazil with 20, 026, 533 all time infections, while 559, 607 patients are no more(40, 716 new and 1175 deaths*).

    France has come up as the 4th country most hit, reporting 6, 298, 649 all time infections, while 112,282 patients are no more alive(28, 145 new and 67 deaths*), followed by Russia with 6, 296, 570 all time cases, while 159, 803  patients have been killed by the virus(22, 564 new and 771 deaths*) and  the United Kingdom which has registered 6, 010, 745  confirmed cases, while 130, 386 lives have perished(30, 048 new and 88 deaths*).

    Turkey is the 7th country most hit by the virus with 5, 822, 487 confirmed cases and 51,767 patients are now dead, followed by Argentina which has documented 4, 989, 402 all time cases, while 107, 023 lives are no more(27, 522 new and 576 deaths*) and Colombia, which has registered 4, 821, 603 all time infections, while 121, 899 others are no more alive(13,624 new and 415 deaths*).

    Spain remains the 10th country most hit, reporting 4, 566,571 infections, while 81, 931 patients are no more(21,995 new and 84 deaths*) and South Africa which has documented 2, 497, 655 all time cases, while 73, 873 lives have been wasted(13, 646 new and 457 deaths*).
