    LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 250 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria, bringing the total number to 53, 727  cases.

    Out of the 53, 727 all time cases,  41,314 patients have been discharged, while  1,011  others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 11, 402 Coronavirus patients.

    Breakdown of the new cases as follows, Plateau-69,  FCT-41,  Lagos-21,  Delta-14,  Kaduna-14,  Bayelsa-13,  Enugu-13,  Ekiti-11,  Bauchi-9,  Ogun-8,  Edo-7,  Oyo-7,  Rivers-6, Adamawa-4, Osun-4,  Nasarawa-3, Ebonyi-2, Kwara-2,  Gombe-1,  Imo-1, making a total of 250 new cases .

    Meanwhile, there are currently 24,830,047 confirmed cases of the pandemic,  839, 221 deaths, while 16, 245, 258 patients have  survived the pandemic based on statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.

    According to the centre, the United States remains the most affected country with 5, 951, 047 confirmed cases,  182,665  deaths, while 2, 118, 367 others have survived, leaving  the United States with 3, 650, 015  patients hoping to survive the pandemic(44, 432 new cases), followed by  Brazil, which has documented 3,804, 803 all time cases of the pandemic, 119,504  deaths and  3, 158, 783  recoveries, leaving Brazil with 526, 516 patients  in need of medical attention(43, 412 new cases) and India which has reported  3, 463,972 confirmed cases,  62, 550 deaths, while 2, 648,998 patients have been given clean bill of health, leaving India with  752, 424 patients hoping to defeat the pandemic(76, 472 new cases).

    Russia, the next country  in the league of most affected countries has reported 982, 573  all time cases,  16,977  deaths, while 802, 365 patients have been given clean bill of health, leaving Russia with 163, 231 patients in need of assistance to get back on their feet, followed by Peru which has reported 629, 961 confirmed cases,  28, 471 deaths, while  429,608 patients have been discharged, leaving Peru with 171, 882 patients to treat for Coronavirus(7, 234 new cases)  and then South Africa with 620, 132 confirmed cases,  13, 743 deaths, while 533, 935 patients  have been discharged, leaving  South Africa with 72, 454  patients in urgent need of medical attention.

    Colombia is next with 590, 492 all time cases,  18, 766 deaths while  429, 608 patients have been able to overcome the pandemic, leaving  Colombia with 142, 118  patients to assist  in getting out of the pandemic(8, 497 new cases), followed by  Mexico which has reported 585, 738 confirmed cases,  63, 146  deaths while 479,770 others have been given clean bill of health, leaving Mexico with 42, 822 patients needing assistance to get out of the pandemic(5, 824 new cases), followed by Spain which has documented 439,286  all time cases,  29, 011 deaths,  while 150, 376 others have been discharged, leaving Spain with 259, 899 patients to assist out of the pandemic.

    Chile is next with 408,009  all time cases of Coronavirus,  11, 181 deaths, while  381, 183 patients have overcome the pandemic, leaving Chile with 15, 645 patients in need of medical assistant to overcome the deadly virus, followed by Argentina with 392, 009 confirmed cases,  8, 305 deaths over time and  287, 220 recoveries, leaving Argentina with 96, 484 active cases of Coronavirus(11, 717 new cases) and Iran, which has reported 371, 816 all time cases , 21, 359 deaths, while 319, 847 patients have been discharged, leaving Iran with 30, 610 patients  hoping to survive the pandemic.

    The United Kingdom(13), which has suffered the highest casualty in Europe has documented 334, 915 confirmed cases,  41, 585 deaths, while only 1, 620 patients have been cured in the whole of U.K, leaving the state with 291, 710 patients praying to God to get them out of their sick bed(1, 126 new cases), followed by France in the 16th spot in the league with  304, 947 all time cases of the pandemic, 30, 601 deaths, while 86, 495 patients have been declared healthy, leaving France with 187, 851 patients to treat for the pandemic(83 new cases), followed by Italy(19) with 266, 853  confirmed cases, 35, 473 deaths, while 208, 224  patients have survived(1, 444 new cases), leaving Italy with 23, 156 Coronavirus patients and China, where the pandemic was first reported.

    Now in the 34th spot in the league of affected countries, China has reported 89, 855 confirmed cases, 4, 721  deaths over time, while  84, 457  others have survived the pandemic, leaving China with  only 677 active cases of Coronavirus.
