KWARA, Nigeria – ARMED terrorists stormed a packed church service yesterday, gunning down at least THREE innocent worshippers and abducting the pastor in a heartbreaking raid that threatens to plunge Nigeria into further chaos.
Families—including the old and young—were forced to flee into the bushes as the savages opened fire indiscriminately inside the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in Eruku town, Kwara State, on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.
Footage from the scene shows utter devastation after the service turned into a bloody stampede. Gunshots echoed through the normally peaceful community as the assailants showed absolutely NO MERCY to those gathered for prayer.
The terrified community is reeling after the brazen attack, which saw the church’s pastor and several other congregants violently dragged away and kidnapped by the heavily armed gang.
This horrific incident is not an isolated crime—it’s part of a brutal, years-long pattern of religious persecution, suppression, and genocide sweeping across the entire country.
The attack on the Christ Apostolic Church highlights the chilling danger now facing millions. Kwara State sits right on the edge of Nigeria’s Southwest region, a geographical and cultural zone previously considered safer.
One local source warned: “They’re bold enough to hit here. How long before it’s the South, West, and East next? No region is safe while our government fiddles and security forces look the other way.”
The fact that the terrorists were able to strike at the heart of a religious service in this border state has sent shockwaves across the nation, confirming fears that the brutal terror campaign is widening its reach and escalating the violence.
The SCM will continue to monitor the search for the kidnapped pastor and pressure authorities to protect innocent worshippers from this devastating wave of killing
The Kwara State Police Command is yet to issue any statement on the issue.
