Buhari who was addressing a gathering of women in the South West at Habour Port, in Lagos, said a thorough examination of the records of the Supreme Military Council will reveal why his government carried out some of the execution at that time.

He said that unless that is done, the future will remain bleak for Nigerians.   Buhari explained he will fight corruption and that the money that would accrue to the state from the fight would be ploughed into education.

He said that the youths  make up 60 percent of the population of Nigeria and that 50 percent of these are unemployed.

According to him, the rate of development of children in modern times is so overwhelming that at age 7,  they seem to know everything and called on parents to handled them properly to prevent a situation where they will be hijacked by bad elements in the society.

Also speaking on the menace of the Lagos State Traffic Management Agency (LASTMA), the APC governorship candidate in Lagos, Akinwunmi Ambode said that government must be commended for setting up the agency adding that like every agency there are bound to be bad eggs.

He said government will deal with the bad eggs but that if elected, his APC government will deploy technology to in the management of traffic such that a LASTMA official does not need to enter your car to enforce law but that plate numbers of offenders will be captured and the bill sent to homes of offenders.

The APC team later addressed artisans in Lagos State and later moved to Agege stadium for a rally with Arewa in Lagos as part of effort to drum up support for General Muhammadu Buhari.
