THE only way to stop the Iranian “snake” from getting its hands on a nuclear nuke is to kill off the regime for good, firebrand John Bolton has warned.
In a stinging broadside, the former National Security Adviser declared that the U.S. and Israel must finish the job by “decapitating” the Ayatollah’s top henchmen.
Speaking as tensions in the Middle East reach a boiling point, Bolton argued that taking out the regime’s big hitters is the only move left to shatter Tehran’s grip. He claimed that once the “head” is removed, the remaining terrified officials will be forced to wave the white flag and cooperate.
”Iran is in the planning stages to acquire nuclear weapons,” Bolton warned. “The only way to stop them is regime change.”
But while Israeli jets and U.S. forces hammer targets across Iran, Bolton has turned his fire on his former boss, Donald Trump. He sensationally claimed the President is “waffling” and has NO real strategy to win the war.
Bolton blasted:
”Trump has no strategy and no policy. He changed his goal for the war—first saying it was for the people being killed, then switching to preventing nukes. He doesn’t understand the significance of what he’s about to do.”
The moustachioed hawk says the White House is “faltering” without a firm plan for what happens after the smoke clears. Bolton believes the regime is at its weakest point since 1979, but fears Trump’s “transactional” style will waste the chance to bring down the Islamic Republic for good.
The warning comes as joint U.S.-Israeli strikes continue to pound the Revolutionary Guard and nuclear sites like Natanz. Bolton insists that unless the “instruments of state power” are destroyed and the leadership wiped out, the nuclear threat will never go away.
The current crisis follows a dramatic escalation in February 2026. After years of “shadow boxing,” the United States and Israel launched a massive joint military operation—Operation Decisive Strike—following the collapse of nuclear talks in Geneva.
On February 28, 2026, a precision strike reportedly killed Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, sending the regime into a tailspin.
Joint forces have hit over 1,000 targets, including the Natanz nuclear facility, to “reset the clock” on Iran’s atomic ambitions.
The strikes have coincided with massive internal uprisings across Iran, with protesters hoping to see the end of decades of clerical rule.
John Bolton, who has long advocated for a “pre-emptive” strike on Tehran, remains the loudest voice calling for the total overthrow of the government, even as the Trump administration struggles to define its ultimate “endgame” in the region.
