The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola today  handed over the first trauma and burnt centre at the Gbagada General Hospital in Lagos, Nigeria. A Swedish professor of sociology has nominated the whistle blower, Edward Snowden for the Nobel Peace Prize. Stating the rationale or the nomination, the professor said that the NSA whistleblower could help “save the prize from the disrepute incurred by the hasty and ill-conceived decision” to give the 2009 award to Barack Obama.
