    ARIANA GRANDE CONCERT BOMBING: POLICE GET WARRANT TO HOLD SUSPECTS FOR 7 DAYS

    MANCHESTER, London – The police in London have obtained warrants to detain the 4 suspects arrested May 17, following the bombing of a concert that featured the American singer, Ariana Grande at Manchester Arena, London.




    All four men were arrested by officers from the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command. They are [A] A 24-year-old man who was arrested near his home address in east London on suspicion of being concerned in the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism under section 41 Terrorism Act 2000.

    [B] A 27-year-old man who was arrested at his home address in east London on suspicion of being concerned in the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism under section 41 Terrorism Act 2000.

    [C] An 18-year-old man who was arrested at his home address in east London on suspicion of being concerned in the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism under section 41 Terrorism Act 2000.

    [D] A 25-year-old man who was arrested at his home address in east London suspicion of being concerned in the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism under section 41 Terrorism Act 2000.

    The men were detained under the Terrorism Act and remain in custody at a south London police station. Officers have searched five residential addresses in east London and one business address, also in east London.

    These arrests were pre-planned as part of an ongoing investigation by the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command and MI5.
