An eight minute strike by Argentine forward, Gonzalo Higuain on Saturday took Argentina into the semi-finals, beating Belgium 1:0.
It is the first time that Argentina is cruising into the Semi-final round in the last nine years. Higuain who scored the winning goal said that though the goals were slow in coming in, it came when it was needed.
”Since the first game of this World Cup I said I was calm, that the goals would come. It came and at an important moment,” Higuain said. ”It’s been so many years since we made it to the semifinals. Now we did.”
