Abia Warriors engage another team in league match

[wysija_form id=”1″]March 11, 2015 – Premier League hopefuls, Abia Warriors Football Club of Umuahia, has acquired 40 hectares of land in the capital city for the construction of the club’s ultra-modern sports complex which will be the first of its kind in the country.

Chairman of Abia Warriors FC, Chief Emeka Inyama told the club’s official website that the sports complex will be all-encompassing as it would contain a 40-room guest house, three official pitches, a gymnasium, an internet compliant office secretariat, among other facilities.

He commended Governor T.A. Orji for approving the land and ensuring its acquisition and assured him that Abia Warriors will not disappoint their numerous fans and government.

The chairman said the Governor will perform the ground-breaking ceremony of the complex soon while construction will start in earnest shortly after.

While restating that Abia Warriors will continue to be run with the highest international standard, Chief Inyama called on the club’s fans and supporters to remain steadfast assuring that better days laid ahead.
