Buhari loses personal body guard, Wo Lawal Mato

ABUJA, Nigeria – President Muhammadu Buhari has lost his personal body guard, Wo Lawal Mato. H ewas a warrant Office and died after struggling with a bout of diabetes.
He died on Tuesday. The President described the Warrant Officer who has been working with him for many years before he won the 2015 general elections as a dependable soldier.

President Muhammadu Buhari prayed that Allah will ease his passage to paradise and grant his family, government and people of Jigawa State the courage to bear the loss.
In a statement, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina said, Wo Mato was part of a team that former President, Umaru Musa Yar’Adua restored to him as personal security details and was on duty for three years before treating diabetes, he said.
