Palestinian Authority extends detention, torture of journalist for another 48 hours
GAZA, Palestine – Members of the Palestinian Authority, PA who have assumed new role as ally of Israel have extended the detention and torture of Jarah Khalaf, a journalist they captured for exposing their conniving atrocities in Jenin.
The journalist who has been tortured for three days, shackled and hanging upside down in PA detention facility in Jenin, Lawyer for Justice told Quds Network.
Speaking in an interview, his brother Mohamed Khalaf said Jarah was subjected to “Shabah” for three days.
This is taking place just as the PA has intensified attacks on resistant fighters in the past 37 days.
The PA has also been accused of killing Shatha Al-Sabbagh, a Palestinian journalist and eight Palestinian fighters including the leader of Jenin Brigade Yazeed Jaa’isa.
Lawyer for Justice said Jarah was interrogated for covering the press conference held by the resistant fighters in Jenin.
“They questioned him about possession of weapon and reporting PA atrocities in Jenin Refugee Camp”, the Lawyers said.
Recall that the PA has been accused of setting the Jenin Refugee Camp on fire. They have denied the accusations.
