    Eunice Adesina, AfDB President’s mother dies at 92

    LAGOS, Nigeria – Eunice Adesina, the aged mother of Akinwunmi Adesina, the President of African Development Bank, AfDB is dead. She was 92.

    The AfDB President, who made the revelation on his social media handle paid a glowing tribute the deceased, whom he described as a very caring mother who brought him up.

    Akinwunmi who lost his dad sometime ago, asked his late mother to sleep well and greet his late father.

    “My darling mother, Eunice O. Adesina passed away today at the age of 92. I am blessed you were my mother. You gave birth to me, nursed me, cared for and brought me up.

    I am forever grateful Mum. So long sweet Mum, greet Dad and sleep well. I love you. Your loving baby, Akins”, he said.
