LAGOS, Nigeria – The merger talk between the Presidential candidate of Labor Party, Mr. Peter Obi and his counterpart in the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, Rabiu Kwankwanso is ongoing, the NNPP has said.
The NNPP made the statement even as the popularity of Peter Obi of the Labour Party has continued to spread like wide fire during the Harmattan.
Recall that Peter Obi visited Kwankwaso few days after he decamped from the PDP, but since then, they have not been seen together.
The NNPP said special committees have been set up to discuss the propose merger, hoping for good results.
“We wish to inform Nigerians that, our discussions with @PeterObi and the #LabourParty are still ongoing. Special committee was set to discuss arrangements.
“We hope for good results that will give Nigeria a chance to be alive, once again”, the NNPP said in a statement online.
Recall that Peter Obi was in Egypt just few days ago to study power, with a view to using his knowledge to resolve Nigeria ‘s power problem when he eventually becomes President of Nigeria.
