EDO, Nigeria – At least seven people have been confirmed dead when gun men made attempt to take the life of President, Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleiman and his family.
Apostle Suleiman who made the revelation in his recorded video said the gunmen overtook his convoy from behind and started spraying bullets on the vehicle they thought was conveying him.
The man of god who is also CEO, CelebrationTV Network Ltd and Hossana oil Ltd said his wife and children were all in the vehicle when the gun men struck.
He said may have been making attempt on his character since 2017 for a long time adding that since they failed they are making attempt on his life but that he will not die being a man of god.
“ I Just escaped and assassination attempt where seven people where killed”, he said, adding that his car was attacked when the gunmen opened fire on his car. “They kept spraying my vehicle, my wife and children were there. We were all moving in a convoy.
“The escort car with some police, they killed the policemen, the other escort vehicle, space bus with policemen, they killed them, seven people. They cannot kill me because my life is in the hands of god”, he said.
Apostle Suleiman said the people who carried out the assassination attempt expected him to come out and mention their names so that they can deny it but that he was not going to do that.
He said he is alive and well, his family is fine but that he feels bad for the lives that have been taken by the gunmen.
“We are mourning but Jesus is lord and for all those whom they killed, may their souls rest in peace and for the young men who opened fire and kept wasting people, I won’t take your life but the seed that you sow you will reap.
“ I want Nigerians to know that a coordinated lie swallows uncoordinated truth but with time Nigerians will know the truth”, he said.
