You can see that contrary to permutations, Kano stood still for several hours when Atiku visited on Sunday. I mean, in all parts of the North, we all can attest to Atiku’s strong and competitive outing. In Borno, Katsina, Sokoto, these were hitherto no-go areas for President Buhari’s opponents; you know that

YOLA, Adamawa, Nigeria – Momentum of the Atiku/Obi campaign is catching on and fast sweeping across the North-east, hitherto a stronghold of President Muhammadu Buhari.

It is sweeping on and gaining allies across all political divide. The latest being a coalition of 300 groups which have endorsed him just four days to the Presidential election slated for February 16, 2019.

I can bet it that the so called 12 million votes for Buhari in the North for now, only exists in some people’s imagination. Therefore, going by what obtains in the ongoing campaign rallies across the country, every right thinking Nigerian knows where the pendulum is swinging to

The coalition, which cuts across political parties said it based its decision on “the momentum the Atiku presidential campaign” which is gaining ground all over the nation.

Spokesman for the group, Balarabe Sadi Adamu said at a large gathering in Yola, the Adamawa State capital that the north cannot cede power to Northwest all the time except if it wants to redefine the North as North-West.

“You can see that contrary to permutations, Kano stood still for several hours when Atiku visited on Sunday. I mean, in all parts of the North, we all can attest to Atiku’s strong and competitive outing. In Borno, Katsina, Sokoto, these were hitherto no-go areas for President Buhari’s opponents; you know that.

“I can bet it that the so called 12 million votes for Buhari in the North for now, only exists in some people’s imagination. Therefore, going by what obtains in the ongoing campaign rallies across the country, every right thinking Nigerian knows where the pendulum is swinging to.”

Another member of the group, Mary Frank said the pelting of President Muhammadu Buhari at a rally in Ogun State, the home state of Professor Yemi Osinbajo  as amounting to “public rejection”.
“The Ogun saga is a testament that Nigerians have rejected the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)”.

Ahmed Umar Fintri, the PDP governorship candidate in Adamawa, who addressed the gathering on behalf of Atiku, urged supporters of the former Vice-President to come out en masse on Thursday, as the party rounds up its presidential campaign in Yola.
