Mother’s Day: Jubilations as CEO of Akpoazaa Foundation grants scholarships to 11 students in Okija Community

AWKA, Anambra – Jubilations erupted in Uhudim Uhuobo community, Okija, in the Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State, as Dr. Frank Igbojindu, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Akpoazaa Foundation, awarded scholarships to 11 deserving students.

The philanthropic gesture took place during the Mother’s Day celebration in the community when Dr. Igbojindu visited his maternal home, the Okoye family, to honor Mrs. Elizabeth Okoye, who was bestowed with the title Nne Ora by the Anglican Church.

During the surprise visit, the Akpoazaa Group CEO celebrated the invaluable contributions of mothers to their families and communities.

He expressed gratitude to mothers for their unwavering efforts in managing their homes and raising the next generation.

Dr. Igbojindu emphasized that this special occasion was not only to recognize the strength and dedication of mothers but also to express thanks for their unique roles in society.

Among the beneficiaries include two for secondary schools while nine pupils in primary schools.
Dr. Igbojindu took the opportunity to highlight the importance of education in shaping the future of Nigerian youth. As part of the celebration, he announced the scholarships to 11 deserving children, providing them with an opportunity to pursue their educational dreams and grow into responsible citizens.

According to Dr. Igbojindu, the scholarships aim to ease the financial burden families face in educating their children.

He reaffirmed that the Akpoazaa Foundation is committed to empowering young minds to help them reach their full potential.

Additionally, Dr. Igbojindu recognized the sacrifices and critical roles mothers play in nurturing and shaping society’s youth. He said, “Today, we honor the unwavering love and support that mothers provide. They are the backbone of our families and communities.”

The scholarships initiative, he said, was a small token of appreciation for the hard work of mothers.

According to him,he firmly believes that investing in the youth is an investment in the future of both the community and the nation.

The event, which was a behivees of activity, attracted men and women from all walks of life in Ihiala. Dr. Igbojindu shared his commitment to fostering a brighter future for all. He also took the occasion to offer lifetime monthly stipends to Mrs. Elizabeth Okoye and he also gave cash gifts to some women present during the occasion.

Dr. Igbojindu stated, “The Akpoazaa Group remains dedicated to supporting education and uplifting families, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to succeed in life.” He further promised to mobilize resources from well-to-do individuals within the community to guarantee that no child is denied an education due to financial constraints.

Rev. Solomon Ejike Enuma, the Vicar in charge of the Community Anglican Church, expressed his gratitude for the CEO’s kindness. He offered prayers of support and guidance for Dr. Igbojindu’s endeavors, encouraging others to emulate his philanthropic gesture in empowering the youth for greater productivity.

Mrs. Elizabeth Okoye, overwhelmed by the gesture, thanked Dr. Igbojindu for allowing God to use him to positively impact the lives of people in the community.

She prayed for God’s continued blessings and protection over him and his work.
