GAZA, Palestine – The Gaza Health Ministry in Palestine has announced the killing of the murder of a new journalist by Israel in its brutal war on Gaza.
According to the Ministry, the latest journalist murdered is Mohammad Saleh Al-Bardawil.
Until his death, Mohammad Saleh Al-Bardawil worked as a broadcaster for Al-Aqsa Voice Radio.
His death brings the total death of journalists killed by Israel since October 7, 2023 to 209.
“The number of journalist martyrs has risen to 209 journalists since the start of the genocide against the Gaza Strip, following the announcement of the martyrdom of a fellow journalist”, the Government Media Office said.
Mohammad Saleh Al-Bardawil worked as a broadcaster at Al-Aqsa Voice Radio.
The Government Media Office strongly condemned the deliberate targeting, killing, and assassination of Palestinian journalists by the “israeli” occupation.
“We call on the International Federation of Journalists, the Arab Journalists Union, and all press institutions around the world to denounce these systematic crimes against journalists and media professionals in the Gaza Strip.
“We hold the “israeli” occupation, the U.S. administration, and the countries participating in the genocide — such as the United Kingdom, Germany, and France — fully responsible for committing this heinous and brutal crime.
“We call on the international community, international organizations, and all institutions concerned with journalism and media worldwide to condemn the occupation’s crimes, deter and prosecute it before international courts, and bring the perpetrators to justice. We also urge them to exert serious and effective pressure to stop the genocide, protect journalists and media professionals in Gaza, and end the crime of killing and assassinating them
He asked Allah Almighty to grant mercy, acceptance, and paradise to all our fellow martyr journalists, and to grant their families and the Palestinian journalistic community patience and solace.
