KANO, Nigeria – The Director General of Tinubu Campaign Organisation, Abdulmumin Jibrin has dumped his party, the All Progressive Congress(APC).
Jibrin who is a third term member of the House of Representatives and former Chairman House Committee on Finance and Appropriation in the 8th assembly said he has done his best for APC and that it now time to move on, he said on Twitter.
He said he will announce his new political party in the next 24 hours and make a statement in due course.
“I have done my best for APC. Its time to move on. I will announce my new political party within the next 24 hours insha Allah. I will make a formal statement in due course”, he said.
He dumped the APC just 10 hours after his continued consultation for the party in Kano State.
It is not clear why he decided to dump the national leader and front runner in the presidential race under the platform of the APC.
