LAGOS, Nigeria – Total confirmed cases worldwide now stands at 309, 161, 751 all time cases of Coronavirus pandemic, 5,492,990 patients have passed on, while 9, 440, 481,339 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.
According to the centre, the United States still remains the most afflicted country, reporting 60, 990, 666 affected cases, while 838, 786 patients are no more alive(1,057, 376 new and 1376 deaths#), followed by India, which has documented 35, 707, 727 total cases of infections, while 483,936 patients could not make it alive(179, 723 new and 146 deaths#) and Brazil with 22, 529,183 total cases of infections and 620,251 patients have passed on(23, 636 new and 46 deaths#).
The United Kingdom remains the 4th country most afflicted, reporting 14, 706, 400 total cases, while 150, 712 lives have perished(142, 631 new and 78 deaths#), followed by France which has documented 12, 312, 242 total cases of infections, while 126, 708 patients could not make it alive(94, 220 new and 281 deaths#) and Russia, which has registered 10, 485, 705 all time infection and 310,513 deaths(15, 699 new and 726 deaths#).
Turkey remains the 7th country most hit, reporting 9, 980, 422 total infections, while 83, 702 patients have perished(61, 727 new and 173 deaths#), followed by Germany with 7, 570,320 all time cases and 114, 127 deaths(38, 690 new and 128 deaths#) and Italy, which has reported 7, 536, 486 total infections, while 139,260 patients could not make it alive(99, 547 new and 222 deaths#).
Spain is the 10th country most affected, reporting 7, 457, 300 confirmed cases while 90, 136 lives have perished (292, 394 new and 202 deaths#) and South Africa, the most afflicted country which has documented 3, 528, 463 all time cases, while 92,530 patients have passed on(2409 new and 77 deaths#).
