LAGOS, Nigeria –  The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed  754 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic, bringing all time cases in the country to 215, 918.

But out of the 215, 918 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic,  207,  619 patients have been treated and discharged, while  2, 981 patients have passed on, leaving Nigeria with 5318 active cases of Coronavirus pandemic.

NCDC:  754 new cases of COVID19Nigeria; Lagos – 595, FCT – 68,  Imo – 49,  Oyo – 9,  Delta -5,  Katsina -4, Edo -3,  Kano -3,  Plateau -3, Ekiti -2,  Gombe -2, Rivers – 1: 215, 918 confirmed;  207,  619 discharged; 2,981 deaths”, the NCDC has announced.

There are now 268, 905, 646 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic worldwide, 5, 292, 757 patients have kicked the bucket, while 8, 367, 487, 909 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide, based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.

According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting 49, 725, 733 all time cases, while 795, 298 patients have passed on, followed by India with 34,674, 643 all time infections, while 474,479 patients are now dead and Brazil, which has documented 22, 177,  059 total cases of Coronavirus pandemic and 616, 457 deaths.

The United Kingdom has come up as the  4th country most hit, reporting 10, 780, 295  all time cases of the pandemic, while 146,712 other patients are no more, followed by Russia with 9, 782, 723 total cases of infections, while 281, 571 other patients have lost their lives and Turkey, which has reported  8, 986, 377  total cases of the pandemic, while 78, 602 patients could not make it alive.

France remains the 7th country most affected, reporting 8, 208, 151  total cases of Coronavirus, while 121, 156 patients are no more, followed by Germany, reporting 6, 447, 088 total cases of Coronavirus, while 105, 202 patients have perished  and Iran, which has documented 6, 150,843 total cases of infections, while 130, 603 patients could not survive the pandemic.

Argentina is the 10th country most afflicted, with 5, 350, 867 total cases of infections and 116, 719 deaths and South Africa, which is the most afflicted country in Africa. South Africa has documented  3, 093,452 confirmed cases of Coronavirus, while 90, 060 patients have perished.
