LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 385 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria, bringing all time cases in the country to 217, 866.
But out of the 217, 866 confirmed cases, 210, 076 patients have been treated and discharged, while 2, 983 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 4807 active cases of Coronavirus pandemic, while 2 patients died in the last 24 hours.

There are now 270, 650, 863 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic worldwide, 5, 310, 785 patients are no more, while 8, 475,424, 722 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.
According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting 50, 062, 033 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic, while 798, 218 patients have passed on (165, 191 new and 960 deaths#), followed by India, which has reported 34, 697, 860 total infections, while 475, 636 patients have passed on(7350 new and 202 deaths#) and Brazil, which has reported 22, 177, 059 total cases, while 616,457 patients have passed on.
The United Kingdom remains the 4th country most hit, reporting 10, 935, 244 total cases, while 146,935 patients have passed on(54, 116 new and 39 deaths#), followed by Russia, which has reported 9, 871,229 total cases of Coronavirus and 284, 909 deaths( 29, 208 new and 1094 deaths#) and Turkey, which has documented 9, 060, 945 total cases of Coronavirus pandemic, while 79, 322 patients are no more(36, 752 new and 353 deaths#).
France remains the 7th country most hit, reporting 8, 363, 479 total cases of the pandemic, while 121, 424 patients have passed on(636 new and 8 deaths#), followed by Germany with 6, 559, 860 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic, while 105, 873 other patients could not make it alive(29, 156 new and 172 deaths#) and Iran, which has reported 6, 157, 519 total cases, while 130,764 others could not survive the pandemic(2706 new and 42 deaths#).
Argentina remains the 10th country most hit with 5, 358,455 all time cases, while 116, 771 others could not make it alive(1570 new and 11 deaths#) and South African now reporting 3, 180, 785 confirmations, while 90, 148 patients have kicked the bucket(51, 163 new and 32 deaths#).
