NEW YORK – World Number  1 lawn tennis player,  Novak Djokovic remains happy even after losing the U.S Open to World number 2,  Daniil Medvedev.

Djokovic said that losing the game was an emotional moment but that he remains the happiest man because followers of  the game make him happy.

Daniil Medvedev  who described Novak Djokovic as the greatest tennis player attributed his sharp s kills to video games he played  with friends  in preparing for the encounter at the  Arthur Ashe Stadium.

Djokovic wanted to become the first male winner of the Grand Slam since the great Rod Laver in 1969 and to surpass legends Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal on the all-time Grand Slam titles list but he lost out in the  game.

“He came out very determined on the court. You could feel that he was just at highest of his abilities in every shot. He had a lot of clarity what he needs to do tactically. He has executed it perfectly.”

Medvedev had told reporters that  he was coming to the Arthur Ashe Stadium hopefully 100 percent of fan and that no matter the score, he is just going to turn up the heat.
