LAGOS – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 727 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic, bringing all time cases to 197, 773. But out of the 197, 773 confirmed cases, 185, 597 patients have been treated and discharged, while 2, 585 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 9591 active cases of Coronavirus pandemic, while 7 patients died in the last 24 hours.

There are now 222,989,119 confirmed cases of Coronavirus worldwide, 4, 603, 047 patients are already dead, while 5, 594, 481, 829 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.
According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting 40, 572, 631 confirmed cases, while 654,268 patients are no more(132, 531 new and 1742 deaths*), followed by India with 33,139, 981 all time cases, while 441,749 patients are no more(43, 263 new and 338 deaths*) and Brazil with 20, 928, 008 confirmed cases, while 584, 421 lives have been killed by the virus.
The United Kingdom remains the 4th country most hit, reporting 7, 165, 121 confirmations while 134, 166 lives have been wasted(37, 577 new and 167 deaths*), followed by Russia with 6, 982, 628 all time cases and 186,999 deaths(18, 033 new and 775 deaths*) and France with 6, 962, 867 all time cases, while 115, 938 patients have passed on(18, 070 new and 105 deaths*).
Turkey is still the 7th country worst hit, reporting 6, 566, 538 all time cases, while 58, 913 patients are no more alive, followed Iran with 5, 237, 799 all time cases, while 112,935 patients have kicked the bucket(26, 821 new and 505 deaths*) and Argentina with 5, 215, 332 all time cases, while 112,962 patients are no more alive(3531 new and 111 deaths*).
Colombia has been pushed to the 10th country most afflicted, reporting 4, 923, 197 all time cases, while 125,427 patients are no more alive and South Africa, the most afflicted country in Africa, reporting 2, 843, 042 all time cases, while 84, 327 patients have been killed by the pandemic(6269 new and 175 deaths*).
