LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 295 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic, bringing all time cases to 205, 047.
But out of the 205, 047 all time cases, 193, 260 patients have been treated and discharged, while 2, 695 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 9092 active cases of Coronavirus pandemic, while 6 patients died in the last 24 hours.

There are now 232, 664, 679 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic worldwide, 4,762, 133 patients have passed on, while 6, 147, 180, 626 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.
According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting 43,211,372 confirmed cases, while 692, 274 patients have passed on(136, 289 new and 2247 deaths*), followed by India with 33, 697, 581 all time cases, while 447,373 patients have died from the virus(18, 795 new and 179 deaths*) and Brazil which has documented 21,366,395 all time cases and 594, 653 deaths(14, 423 new and 210 deaths*).
The United Kingdom has come up as the 4th country most hit, reporting 7, 772, 531 confirmed cases, while 136,736 patients have died (34,685 new and 169 deaths*) and Russia, which has documented 7, 355, 883 confirmed cases, while 201, 854 lives have been wasted(21,040 new and 839 deaths*) and France with 7, 094, 334 confirmations, while 117, 347 patients have lost their lives as a result of the pandemic(7418 new*).
Turkey has registered 7, 066, 658 all time cases, while 63, 372 patients have passed on followed by Iran which has reported 5,559, 691 all time infections, while 119, 888 patients are no more(239 deaths*) and Argentina which has documented 5, 251, 940 all time infections while 114, 954 patients have kicked the bucket(1538 new and 92 deaths*).
Colombia remains the 10th country worst hit with 4, 954, 376 all time infections and 126, 219 deaths(2701 new and 74 deaths*) and South Africa the most afflicted country in Africa, now reporting 2, 898, 888 registered cases, while 87, 417 lives have been snuffed out by the virus(1367 new and 201 deaths*).
