LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed  437 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic, bringing all time cases to 205, 484. 

But out of the 205, 484 total cases,  193, 482 patients have been treated and discharged, while 2, 701 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 9301 active cases, while 6 patients died in the last 24 hours.

“NCDC: 437 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria;  Lagos – 126, Rivers – 76,  Kwara – 44,  FCT – 37,  Edo – 32, Kaduna -30,  Anambra – 22, Delta – 22,  Osun – 12, Benue – 7,  Abia – 6, Nasarawa – 6,  Kano – 5,  Ekiti – 3, Plateau – 3,  Bayelsa – 2, Ogun -2, Oyo – 2: 205, 484 confirmed,  193, 482 discharged, 2,701 deaths”, the NCDC has announced

There are now 233, 114,589 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic,  4, 771,069  patients have passed on while  6, 197, 839, 801 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.

According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting 43,325,319 confirmed cases of the pandemic, while 694, 775 lives have been wasted (113, 947 new and 2501 deaths*), followed by India with 33, 716, 451 all time cases, while 447,751 patients have died(18,870 new and 378 deaths*) and Brazil  with 21,381, 790 all time cases while 595, 446 lives have are no more(15, 395 new and  793 deaths*).

The United Kingdom remains the 4th country most hit, now reporting 7, 807, 881  confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic,  while 136, 896  patients are no more(35, 350 new and 160 deaths*), followed by Russia with 7, 377, 774  confirmed cases, while 202, 700 patients have passed on (21, 891 new and 846 deaths*) and France which has documented 7, 100, 572  all time cases, while 117, 404 patients have lost their lives(6238 new and 57 deaths*).

Turkey  remains the 7th country most hit, reporting  7, 095, 550  confirmed cases and 63, 611 deaths(28, 892 new and 239 deaths*)  and Iran with 5, 572, 962  confirmed cases, while 120, 160 lives are no more(13, 271 new and 272 deaths*), followed by Argentina which has  documented 5, 253, 765 all time cases, while  115,038  lives are no more(1825 new and 84 deaths*).

Colombia remains the 10th country most hit, reporting 4,954, 376 confirmed cases, while 126,219 lives have kicked the bucket and South Africa, the most afflicted country in Africa. South Africa has reported 2,898, 888  confirmed cases, while 87, 417 lives are no more.
