Credit Card Fraud: Lawyers quarrel over seats in Naira Marley trial

IKOYI, Lagos, Nigeria – The courtroom of Justice Nicholas Oweibo was thrown into confusion today at the Federal High Court, Ikoyi, where HipHop musician, Azeez Fashola better known as Naira Marley was undergoing trial for credit card fraud.

The trial which commenced on Tuesday and continued on Tuesday saw the Head of Forensic Investigation in the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and witness of the commission, Mr. Nuru Buhari testifying in court about the websites visited by Naira Marley with his laptops and Iphones and their connection with credit card fraud.

Nuru Buhari was to be crossexamined today by counsel to Naira Marley, Mr. Olalekan Ojo, SAN.

But confusion over seats pitched lawyers and interested parties at loggerhead, thereby cutting short proceedings in the trial of Naira Marley for Credit card fraud.
