YABA, Lagos, Nigeria – Nollywood actor and the most celebrated lead actor in the film, Battle of Mussanga, Obi Madubuogu is dead.
He died at the at the Federal Medical Center in Yaba, Lagos where he has been on admission, following a bout of diabetes.
Mr. Dan Chris Ebie of the Association of Movie Producers, AMP who confirmed the development said Obi Madubuogo was a member of AMP, Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN and Directors Guild of Nigeria, DGN.
He said the industry is working out an arrangement for his burial but that the arrangement has to be properly synchronised by all the associations he belongs.
He said his burial arrangement will be made known soon.
In 2016, Obi Madubuogu went into a coma but recovered even though his leg was left in bad shape.
