Nasty Traffic on Saturday as APC Embarks on 1 Million Man Match in Lagos

Traffic more terrible than this anticipated enroute one million man match on Saturday

March 6, 2015 – Horrible traffic  situation is anticipated tomorrow Saturday March 7, when the All Progressive Congress(APC) will embark on ‘1 Million Man Match’ for its Presidential Candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari who arrived Nigeria early this morning after several weeks in London, and Vice Presidential candidate, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.

The ‘1 Million Man Match’ will commence at Maryland and terminate at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere, Lagos.

 In a statement, Commissioner for Transportation, Comrade Kayode Opeifa said vehicles passing through Funsho Williams Avenue also known as Ikorodu road will be restricted to service lanes between the hours of 8am and 2PM during the duration of the campaign.

Members of the party are however expected to walk on the expressway, while motorists are advised to manage the service lanes or take other routes to avoid the much anticipated terrific traffic jam.

Opeifa said officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority  (LASTMA) will be heavily mobilized to Ikorodu road to control traffic while motorists are advised to tune in to Traffic Radio.
