December 7, 2014 – The Hunger Games- Mokingjay produced by Lionsgate recorded total sales of $21.6 million to make the weekend one of the worst for the year 2014. The film however retained the number 1 spot which it made last week when it debuted on the scene.
At number 2 is Penguins of Madagascar which is two weeks old in Box Office. Put together by Fox pictures, the film made $11.1 million after passing through 3, 775 viewing centres in the US.
Horrible Bosses 2 which was number 5 last week rallied to number 3 this week when sales hit $8.6 million. Big Hero 6 is number 4 with $8.130 million while Interstellar is number 5 with box office sales of $8million.
The Pyramid which is just hitting the scene made $1.350 million in 589 theatres. Other new films are Wild 2014($630,000) by Fox pictures and Zero Motivation which rewarded Zeitgeist with $9,700.
