July 21, 2014 – Not less than two people were killed Monday when a Nigerian Air Force Jet crashed in the volatile Borno State.
The two people killed were a co-pilot and a technician. The second pilot was rescued alive.
A press statement issued by Director of Defence Information, Major-General Chris Olukolade said the plane was on a routine training in the area when it crashed.
He however ruled out enemy action, adding that the cause of the crash is currently being investigated.
