PORT HARCOURT, River State – Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Mr. Magnus Abe has alleged that 15 people were killed on March 18, during the governorship election in River State.

Senator Magnus Abe who was speaking on Arise News said besides the 15 people who were killed, one Freeborn Agba was kidnapped during the election and is yet to be found to date.

He said the Rivers State Police Command has said nothing about the killings and the missing SDP member.

He said the only people arrested during the election in River State, were members of the SDP for wearing wrong tags, despite the orgy of violence in the state perpetrated by aids of the Rivers State Governor, Mr. Nyesom Wike assisted by the police.

He said that his police orderly were withdrawn during the election but that he saw local government chairman with police orderlies snatching ballot boxes during the election.

He said results were not uploaded from the polling units by INEC officials but were diverted to INEC office where the results were allocated.

He said that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, ordered traditional rulers to adopt a candidate and that there were town criers all over River State, warning people to stay away if they will not vote for the PDP.

He also condemned Wike for focusing on discrediting him after the election and that he will not congratulate Fubara, the governor-elect as a result of the shenanigans which he said characterized the process. He said there was no election.
