December 22, 2014 – At least 15 people are feared to have been killed Monday morning when an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was detonated at the popular Dukku Motor Park in Gombe town.
The explosion is taking place just about 24 hours after the radical Islamic sect, Boko Haram posted a video on the internet where in it threatened to carryout suicide attacks across Nigeria.
We gathered that the Nigeria Police Force(NPF) has already deployed men to the area to comb it for unexploded IEDs.
An official of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), told Reuters that about 21 people were also wounded adding that the wounded were being treated at government hospital in the state.
