AKWA IBOM, Nigeria – Governorship aspirant in Akwa Ibom State, Hon. Eseme Eyiboh has said that zoning of the governorship ticket in the state has run its full course and that 2023 will be the time to return to Akwa Ibom solidarity and common brotherhood.
As he puts it, “any senatorial district where the governor emerges in a free and unrestricted process in 2023 shall begin the second circle of the Akwa Ibom State Governorship zoning”.
In a statement, Hon. Eseme Eyiboh who was a two time member of the House of Representatives and Chairman, House Committee on Information said sovereignty belongs to the people and not the birth right of any community or individual.
“ Akwa Ibom State Governorship trophy 2023 shall be delivered by the people and inaugurated by the will of God, God wins”, Eseme Eyiboh insisted, maintaining that zoning is a mechanism to redress perceived injustice.

“The justice of the Akwa Ibom State Governorship trophy has gone full circle of its first course of zoning at the end of the current tenure(2019-2023). The second course of the zoning begins from ground zero in 2023.
“We must all return back to the Akwa Ibom solidarity and common brotherhood, regardless of the uncircumcised umbrage of the destitute of democratic culture”, Hon. Eseme Eyiboh said.
Hon Eseme Eyiboh was born January 28, 1960 in Akpautong community in Esit Eket Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom state. He started his primary education at the Holy Cross Primary School, Uquo, Esit Eket Local Government Area, from where he proceeded to the Government Secondary School, Eket where he earned his ordinary level School certificate.
He later enrolled in the School of Basic Studies, Akamkpa, for his Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) Certificate and thereafter proceeded to the Federal Polytechnic Bauchi, where he obtained a National Diploma certificate.

Hon Eyiboh later obtained an LLB degree from the University of Uyo and a Certificate in Strategic Leadership from the SAID BUSINESS SCHOOL (OSLP) Oxford University United Kingdom.
