YEMEN – The Yemeni Armed Forces, YAF has announced that it carried out three operations, targeting a British oil ship, Cordelia Moon while it was navigating the Red Sea and a second ship  Marathopolis in the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea.

They were targeted for violating entry prohibition into the ports of Occupied Palestine in support for the people of Gaza who are under Israeli siege, supported by the United States and Britain.

The YAF said it targeted the ship with eight ballistic and winged missiles, a drone and an unmanned boat.

The Yemeni Armed Forces said the operation resulted in the ship being severely damaged.

“We carried out 3 military operations targeting 3 ships.

“We targeted the British oil ship “Cordelia Moon” in the Red Sea.

“The first operation targeted the British oil ship (CORDELIA MOON) in the Red Sea, and it was targeted with 8 ballistic and winged missiles, a drone and an unmanned boat, and the operation resulted in the ship being severely damaged.

“The second operation targeted the ship (MARATHOPOLIS) in the Indian Ocean with a winged missile.

“The third operation targeted the ship again for violating the decision to ban entry to the ports of occupied Palestine while sailing in the armed forces’ operations area in the Arabian Sea to the northeast of the Yemeni Socotra Archipelago, and it was targeted with a drone and the operation resulted in the ship being directly hit”, the YAF said.
