X-Men Sinks Godzila in US Box Office Sales

It’s still a season of great hits with top films hitting the $90 million benchmark at the box office. Nevertheless, The Amazing Spiderman 2, struggled to remain in the top five films of the week when sales dropped to $90.7 million after passing through 3, 160 viewing centres in the US to make it into the top 5 films on the chart.

At number 4 is Neighbours put together by Universal Pictures. Neighbours made $13.946 million after touring 3,266 theatres in the US to make it to number 4 on the chart. Just ahead in number 3 is Blended, a new film just hitting the big screen. Put together by Werner Brothers, Blended made $14. 245 million after making appearance in 3,555 cinemas in the US to make it to the top three films on the box office chart.

Godzilla which was number one last week was pushed to the second position when sales dropped to $31. 424 million after passing through 3,952 film viewing centres in the US to be the second most watched film at the box office.

But the most patronized movie at the weekend was X-Men: Days of Future Past. A production of Fox Studios, the film garnered S90.7 million from 3,996 film viewing centres in the US to be the most patronized movie at the box office.

X-Men is a big budget film put together with the sum of $200 million but was able to make over 90 million Dollars in just one week at the US box Office.
