Chairman All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Victor Umeh has said that the Imo State Governor, Chief Rochas Okorocha will be on his way out of the Imo State House in 2015.

Umeh who spoke in Abuja said the incumbent governor will not be able to win having defected from APGA to the All Progressive Congress (APC). Umeh said he is still in charge of the structure of the party from the grassroots in Imo State adding that Okorocha only left the party with those who came with him into the party.

He explained that there is no difference between the APC and the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) adding that Chief Bisi Akande who was national chairman of ACN remains the national chairman of APC, while Alhaji Lai Mohammed who was the national Publicity Secretary of the party has overnight become national Publicity Secretary of the APC, adding that APC is not different from ACN. He added that APC with Senator Chris Ngige will defeated by APGA in 2015 the way the way he was defeated as ACN governorship candidate four years ago.

He explained that the people of Imo State are not happy with Okorocha whom he said secretly signed pro-abortion bill into law, without public hearing adding that though Okorocha has apologised and promised to repeal the law, the mere fact that he accented to such a law in secrete in a Christian community will hunt the governor for the rest of his life. “It is a burden he will have to carry forever, Imo is a Christian community”, Umeh said.

Umeh explained that the performance of Governor Peter Obi, of APGA in Anambra State dwarfs what Okorocha had done adding that at least 200 kilometres of road has been fixed by Obi, stressing that with the level of work done in Anambra state, it is now possible to drive through the whole state in 40 minutes because of good roads.
