    We are optimistic of winning the presidential election – PDP

    AWKA, Anambra, Nigeria – The Chairman of People Democratic Party PDP, Anambra state chapter,  Chief Ndubisi Nwobu today said that PDP is optimistic of winning the February 16 general elections, if it is credible, free and fair.



    He said this while briefing news men on the party’s readiness for the forthcoming general elections in the country. According to him,the party has done enough and the feelers suggest we are accepted across the country.

    He said PDP is interested on how the sensitive materials  are put together for distributions. According to him, there is no cause to worry given what is going on now, saying that despite all ,there is still need to know the serial numbers of the sensitive materials deployed.

    “We are in interested in all the serial numbers of sensitive materials being used for the election,”he said. On the burnt INEC sensitive materials in Anambra ,he said INEC  owe the country an explanation on what caused the fire outbreak.

    He said that the  PDP believes and hoped that the election will be free and fair to save the country from crisis.

    Earlier,the chairman Atiku-Obi Presidential campaign council, Anambra state, Chief Oseloka Obaze also reiterated that if the election was free , transparent and credible PDP will win.

    “We have done our campaign and a lot have happened in terms of readiness and development”he said.
