IKEJA, Lagos, Nigeria – in a world that celebrates sex, virginity may seem to some as something that is hard to comeby but in real sense, there are virgins and they are found even in their 40s.

So if you are one, then you are the most precious commodity a deserving man can have as a wife. But if you have lost it, take heart, you can still have the man of your dream.
However, the fact remains that as a young lady, if you desire your would-be husband to love, cherish and trust you even when your are in the midst of your friends, you must try all you can to preserve your virginity until the night after marriage.
You might find this awkward, but the reality is that every man looks forward to that night and when you have it you occupy a special place in the heart of your husband.
It may not be easy for the man to get through the hymen, it could take days for the man, but the joy the man derives in the discovery that all he has is a chaste girl as a wife makes it worth the wait and protection.
In those days, we were told, the husband and wife were required to sleep on white bedshit on the night of marriage and blood stain on the sheet the following day is usually celebrated as symbol of virtuous woman, with gifts presented to the parents of the girl for good moral upbringing. This fact is also alluded to in Deuteronomy 22.17. For Christians, one other reason to wait is found at Ephesians 5:5.
