KOGI, Nigeria – Mrs. Boluwaji Obahopo, is wife of Kogi State Vanguard Correspondent. She was involved in an accident along the Kabba-Okene Road, last week Friday.
Five family members died in the unfortunate accident. The Vanguard reporter’s wife and her little daughter managed to survive. Presently, Mrs Obahopo needs urgent surgery for her to walk again and stop further damage to her body. The hospital in Abuja is demanding 80 percent of N2.5m to continue treatment.
Family, friends, some state government appointees, including the SSG, CoS had earlier supported to defray the cost at the Okene General Hospital, FMC Lokoja and journey to the National Hospital Abuja.
The family of the Vanguard reporter in Kogi is calling on well spirited Nigerians to save the life of Mrs Boluwaji Obahopo.
