LAGOS, Nigeria – The management of Vanguard Newspapers has announced the passage of first class journalist and columnist of the newspaper, Mr. Kola Animashaun.
He died early this mourning, M anaging Editor of the newspaper, Mr. Gbenga Adefaye has said.
“Dear colleagues. With deep heart, I announced the death of our our fathers in The Journalism profession, a first class Journalist, Columnist,trainer and mentor Alhaji Muslim Kola Animasaun.

“He died early morning today according to the The Managing Editor Vanguard Newspapers,UncleGbenga Adefaye.
I visited him at home yesterday night in company of two journalists. I held his hand and prayed for him.
“I am glad he lived a fulfilled life”, he said in a statement.
