UN PICKS 2 LASU STUDENTS FOR MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP CAMPUS NETWORK

OJO, Lagos, Nigeria – The United Nations Academic Impact and Millennium Campus Network has selected two students from the Lagos State University(LASU) for the Millennium Fellowship Campus Network. They are Adebiyi, Kehinde Oreoluwa of the Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Science and Soyemi, Touwalase Adebiyi of the Lagos State University College of Medicine.




The selective fellowship is a semester-long development programme that convenes, challenges and celebrates students’ leadership for the United Nations Goal. The programme for 2018 runs for four months (August – November 2018).

Lagos State University was one of the thirty (30) institutions drawn from thirteen nations to participate as millennium fellows who will take actions to help make the Sustainable Development Goals and the United Nations Academic Impact principles a reality.

Based on a testament of exemplary vision, leadership and work, the duo of Adebiyi and Soyemi have also been selected as campus directors for the project as announced on Wednesday 15th, August, 2018 on the website of the United Nations Impact and Campus Network.

Congratulations to ADEBIYI, Kehinde Oreoluwa and SOYEMI, Touwalase Adebiyi!
