LEBANON – At least two people have been killed and three others injured in in Israeli bombing in Jarjouh town, in Southern Lebanon.
The Israeli Defence Forces drone strike targeted a car on the Jarjouh road in the Iqlim al-Tuffah region deep into southern Lebanon.
The drones deployed by the IDF continue to fly at low altitude in multiple areas in the country.
Reporting on the incident, the Israeli Air Force, IAF said a short while ago, it conducted a precise and intelligence-based strike on a central terrorist in Hezbollah’s aerial unit in the area of southern Lebanon.
According to IAF, the terrorist was targeted after repeatedly violating the understandings between Israel and Lebanon over the past few weeks, including his role in leading the launch of UAVs toward Israeli territory.
It added that the IDF continues to operate to remove any threat to the State of Israel and will operate to prevent any attempt by the Hezbollah terrorist organization to establish itself, which is contrary to the understandings reached between Israel and Lebanon.
