WASHINGTON – Former President of the United States, Mr. Donald Trump is due for arraignment in the United States, following his indictment by a Grand Jury.
Topping the list of indictment remains payment to the American pornstar, Stormy Daniels He will appear in court following his indictment by Mahanttan Grand Jury.
It is not clear what the charges will be. But the arraignment will make him the first President of the United States to stand trial even though some others were also infallible.
His Attorney, Michael Cohen had admitted that he paid, Stormy Daniels, celebrity producer of adult films $130,000 to shut her up during the probe on activities of the former president.
He made the statement after an earlier denial that he paid the pornstar from his own money without any direction from Trump, whom he added never reimbursed the money.
Trump’s lawyers said the president will voluntarily fly to New York. His legal team also said Trump will not take a plea deal and will either file a motion to drop the charges or move ahead with a trial.
Following the court appearance, Trump will return to Mar-A-Lago by Tuesday night. His team said he will be back campaigning by Wednesday or Thursday.
Meanwhile, the Republican Party has rallied behind Trump, calling the indictment a “political”.
